St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. New insurance products, a brand-new hotel venue, and the debut of a 2025-model electric-powered sailing catamaran highlight the 2025 U.S. Virgin Islands Charter Yacht Show. Hosted by the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association (VIPCA), the B2B showcase runs Friday through Monday at IGY’s Yacht Haven Grande, St. Thomas. Now in its ninth year, the event marks the official start of the crewed charter yacht season, a cornerstone of the territory’s marine tourism sector that contributes roughly $90 million annually to the U.S. Virgin Islands’ economy.
“We are delighted to welcome brokers, crews, and industry partners to the U.S. Virgin Islands for this year’s Charter Yacht Show. The event highlights our leadership in marine tourism and the professionalism that defines our yachting community. This year’s sold-out show is a testament to our collaborative marketing efforts and steadfast support of the industry. Together, we continue to build meaningful partnerships, strengthen local businesses, and position the U.S. Virgin Islands as the premier destination for charter experiences,” says Jennifer Matarangas-King, Commissioner Nominee of the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism.
